Join our IFM Relief /Bank Team
This job is flexible, and there are no fixed working hours. We will offer work when it is needed to help our services. You can choose which shifts and sites you would like to cover, giving you flexibility to work around your availability.
You will have a main role but may also help in different parts of the Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) team. Full training will be given.
You will help provide Domestic, Catering and Portering services in hospitals, health centres, and clinics. You may work in both patient and non-patient areas.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, willing to learn, and wants to help others.
Interviews for this role will take place in person at an assessment centre on either 5th November in Heanor or 23rd November in Chesterfield. If shortlisted, please ensure you are available to attend on one of these dates.
Domestic Assistant
Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors by following established cleaning schedules and National Standards of Cleanliness. You will work independently or as part of a team and may be required to work across different Trust sites to meet service needs.
Catering Assistant
Support the delivery of a high-quality catering service by maintaining cleanliness, serving meals and refreshments to patients, staff and visitors, and assisting with functions. You will follow food hygiene and health and safety requirements while supporting patients' nutritional and hydration needs.
Porter
Provide an essential support service by transporting supplies, linen, mail, waste, specimens and furniture across Trust sites. Duties may include assisting with patient transfers, directing delivery vehicles, cleaning clinical and non-clinical areas, and carrying out minor maintenance tasks.
Our purpose is to provide community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire and Derby, as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire.
We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes and, increasingly, in people's own homes and via virtual consultations.
