Full Job Description
You will be part of the Facilities Services providing a cleaning and catering service to the wards and departments allowing flexibility to cover general cleaning duties as well as assistance with the meal provision to the patients., The successful candidate will be able to deliver a high level of customer service whilst being able to meet compliance with food hygiene, high cleanliness standards and health and safety regulations. The ability to work effectively and flexibly, both alone and as part of a team, maintaining a high standard of work will be essential. You will need to be flexible with what hours you can cover. The service runs from 07.30am - 7pm Monday-Sunday. Please refer to the Job Description and Person Specification for more information. Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. - Experience or working within a catering, portering or cleaning environment
- Experience of working within healthcare environment
