Bank Engineer / Electrician | Spire Leicester | Oadby | 0 Hours | Ad-Hoc Shifts Spire Leicester Hospital is seeking an experienced Engineer / Electrician to join our Bank team. This flexible role supports the hospital during peak periods, annual leave, and staff absence, helping to maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Duties and responsibilities: Deliver a comprehensive engineering and maintenance service across the hospital site
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), testing, calibration, and fault finding
Diagnose and repair faults across plant, equipment, and building systems
Support installation works and ensure all systems operate safely and efficientlyKey Areas of Responsibility: Electrical and general building maintenance
Water systems
Ventilation systems
Decontamination equipment
Medical gas systems
General engineering dutiesThe Role You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with HTM guidelines, PPM schedules, and manufacturer instructions at all times. Who we're looking for, Completed a recognised apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
City & Guilds (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant discipline, Proven experience in building services within a similar environment
Strong working knowledge of plant and building systems
Ability to prioritise workloads and respond to changing demands
