Bank Driver

We are looking for an experienced professional, compassionate Bank Driver to support our hospital in Birmingham. This role involves transporting our patients safely and comfortably between hospital, community settings, appointments and other arrabnged transport needs. As part of our bank team, you will have the flexibility of shifts that suit your availability while playing a vital role in patient care. All applicants must hold a Full Manual UK Driving Licence.,

• Transporting patients to and from appointments and other facilities
• Ensure the safety, dignity and wellbeing of all passengers
• Assist patients in and out of vehicles where required
• Maintain accurate transport records and documentation
• Work closely with clinical staff to support patients needs
  
  You will be of smart appearance with a polite and courteous manner, enjoy working as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• You must hold a full clean manual driving licence. (for business insurance purposes must be over 21)
• The role requires level basic IT skills
• Be able to work with a degree of autonomy
• Respectful, patient, non-judgemental and empathic approach when working in a mental health environment
