Bank Driver

Accountabilities and Activities:

• To complete a Daily Vehicle Check to ensure the vehicle is road worthy and all checks are in line with the 'Daily Vehicle
• Check' procedure. All vehicle defects must be reported immediately in line with 'Defect' procedure.
• To ensure all products are loaded safely on to the vehicle.
• Check all Delivery Notes and Drivers Manifest are in order and ensure the vehicle is not overloaded by weight or Capacity and that any concerns are reported directly to the Transport team.
• Housekeeping tasks
• Loading of despatch transport
• Unloading of despatch transport
• Receiving and checking of hospital returns
• Handling of despatch containers
• Ensure Policies and Procedures are carried out to meet the requirements of ISO 13485, 14001, 45001
• Responsible for adhering to the confidentiality of Spire Healthcare material, and complying with Spire's information security policies and standards.
• Responsibile for ensuring the customer order is correctly delivered first time on time.
  
  experience in the field of healthcare supplies an advantage but not essential
• good communication skills
• able to contribute to a team environment
• some PC experience preferred but not essential
• Full and clean UK Driving Licence.
• Good driving skills and knowledge of current Road Transport Regulations.
• Smart & courteous manner
• Good team member.
Judgement Skills: Needs to be very accurate and have an eye for detail Environment: Warehouse and road driving. Should be physically fit; lifting required.
