Full Job Description
The Support Services Catering Assistant is responsible to the Support Services Supervisor to undertake a range of catering duties, which include the preparation of beverages, snacks, salads, sandwiches, buffets and cooking of hot meals for both patients and staff within the Health Board. To carry out other relevant duties associated with the catering operation and periodically those as directed to support the wider Support Services Team e.g. cleaning or porter tasks., You will support the local delivery of hotel services catering and associated facilities activities, ensuring that they are delivered at the levels agreed and that they meet with full compliance with all appropriate legislation and local policies and procedures. You will need to be self-motivated, have a flexible approach to work, able to work as part of a team and have the ability to work on your own initiative. Previous experience is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given. You will be working as part of a rota that can include evenings and weekends.
