As a Bank Catering Assistant you will be: Assisting catering staff with both the preparation, As a Bank Catering Assistant at Springwood Lodge, you'll assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, support food services to service users, staff, and visitors, and maintain storage procedures and stock rotation. You'll ensure cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards, and liaise with dietitians about dietary needs. To succeed in this role, you'll need a relevant catering qualification, knowledge of COSHH and HACCP, experience in a similar role, and basic numeracy and literacy skills. • Assisting catering staff with both the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
• Serving service users, staff and visitors with food and beverages.
• Maintaining storage procedures and stock rotation.
• Ensuring that all areas, equipment and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly.
• As part of the catering team, ensuring the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with the company's policies and procedures.
• Liaising with the wider team, including dietitians regarding dietary and planned meals
  
  Relevant Catering Qualification (Desirable)
• Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP
• Experience of working within similar role.

You will be working at Spring Wood Lodge, a service that supports women over the age of 18 who have complex emotional and mental health problems associated with significant risk behaviours. Typically they have a diagnosis of personality disorder or a severe mental illness. They may not have had their needs met in a general psychiatric service including acute inpatient units, community mental health teams or community personality disorder service. Working as part of a team, you will focus on active rehabilitation with a view to achieving sustainable discharge. What you will get:
