Full Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist, at Band 3 to work within our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team via a Bank Contract, based in Radlett. You will be joining our Temporary Staffing Team within HPFT - Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will be expected to carry out reception, and any additional administration duties on behalf of the clinical team. You will be supported by a skilled and experienced administrative team. This is a good learning and development opportunity for someone wanting to work in the NHS and make a difference to the experience of children, young people and their families, who are experiencing mental health difficulties.
The CAMHS Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team is a multi-award winning, multidisciplinary community team working with under 18's who have presented in mental health crisis., Manage incoming calls and to contact service users as required on behalf of the team.
Sort and issue incoming post and frank outgoing mail.
Responsible for logging faults with facilities and liaison with the local site office where necessary.
Be accountable for any paper files and archive filing system.
Undertake routine duties under the supervision of the Team Leader and procedural guidelines.
Work closely with the admin team to provide comprehensive secretarial service to the Clinic Team including copying, scanning and audio typing.
Responsible for ensuring notice boards and leaflets are up to date with relevant information.
Update skills as necessary and attend mandatory training.
Maintain the Units filing systems, filing and retrieving records as required.
Assist with the collection of statistical data as required.
Maintain the archive system for patients and staff
HPFT provides services for service users with mental health, learning disability and children's and adolescent mental health problems. Applicants should have some experience of working in a healthcare setting.
