Full Job Description

  • To work as an autonomous clinical practitioner, using care and case management assessment, clinical examination, and diagnostic skills to deliver high-quality holistic care and treatment.
  • To prescribe efficiently from the extended nurses formulary.
  • To assist in the coordination of Norfolk Primary Care (NPC) Walk-In Service daily.

    Unfortunately NPC does not hold a license for Visa Sponsorship and cannot progress any applications for candidates without the right to work in the UK.
  • Norwich Walk-in Centre is a prescribing nurse-led operation. Its purpose is to assist members of the public with acute minor illness and injury when the patient is unable to access their own surgery. We are seeking clinicians to join our bank team and provide flexible cover for annual leave, sickness absence, and periods of increased service demand. The Walk-In Centre operates seven days a week from 7:00am to 7:00pm, offering a range of shifts that staff can choose to suit their availability., Norfolk Primary Care Ltd is a Community Interest Company. It was established to

  • Support and strengthen primary care and to promote and assist practices to improve quality by working with and on behalf of primary care in Norfolk.
  • Help with challenges identified by practices workload, GP recruitment, sharing best practice.
  • Recognise the changing nature of primary care and assist to ensure that the right level of service is provided to address the needs of the local population.
  • Provide benefit to patients of primary care, the clinicians and administrators who work in it and practice organisations in Norfolk.
