Bank Admin Clerk

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Admin Clerk to join our teams within the Patient Access Centre team at Liverpool Women's Hospital on a bank contract., This role will involve training to a standard that enables cover during periods of staff shortage across a range of areas. Duties will include manning the appointment phone line, supporting the management of clinic bookings and covering the clinic reception when required.

As the first point of contact for our patients, a very high standard of customer service is essential. The post holder must demonstrate an exceptional telephone manner, alongside a calm, understanding, and caring approach. The Patient Access Centre manages a high volume of calls and appointments each day, and the successful candidate will support the chronological booking and scheduling of clinic appointments.

The working hours for this post are Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 6:00pm. Occasional weekend and evening work.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and computer literate, with the ability to quickly learn several different systems, including e-Referral, the Hospital Patient Administration System, Outlook, and Excel.
