Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced podiatrist to join our supportive and friendly team to provide high quality wound care intervention for our community patients.

The prospective candidate must have broad experience in the field of woundcare, be highly motivated, flexible, and able to line manage and work as part of a team.The successful candidate will have a community-focused clinical caseloadwith a responsibility to provide foot and ankle diagnosis, network with an MDT approach, and provide best practice care with outstanding outcomes for our patients. You will work with a small team of podiatrists, and help develop this part of the service. Professional interdisciplinary networking with services such as KCH and PRUH diabetic foot teams, and vascular services will be mandatory.

Bromley Healthcare is also proud to be able to provide great training opportunities for its staff ., We are looking for HCPC Registered Podiatrists with post graduate experience in wound and line management, with a high degree of motivation and clinical skills. The successful candidate will be required to have excellent diagnostic and clinical skills to deliver a range of podiatry interventions.The post holder will be an expert in their field, and will provide education not only for patients, but for other clinical staff. You will be expected to manage a small team, and coordinate best patient care, share knowledge with the wider team and present case discussion and research at team and MDT meetings.

As a clinician, you will have responsibility of clinical and domicilary caseloads, remote monitoring via minuteful for wounds app, regular contact with nursing teams, and be able to organise, and manage caseloads, and coordinate responsive and dynamic care.

You will maintain best practice and demonstrate Bromley Healthcare values in your day to day role working as part of a team. We value healthcare promotion through patient empowerment and education, therefore we require podiatrists who have excellent communication and assessment skills.

We encourage team members to take part in various CPD activities including clinical supervision, in-house training during department meetings in addition to external training sessions.
