Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist

You will jointly lead our friendly and enthusiastic team based at Gravesham Community Hospital with another full-time Team Lead Speech and Language Therapist.

As a forward-thinking and innovative team, we are always striving to improve and develop our services and we enjoy supporting colleagues to put their ideas into practice. Over the past year we have worked hard to adapt the way we deliver our services during the pandemic, whilst continuing to provide evidence-based and person-centred care. A large proportion of our intervention is currently delivered via telehealth (phone and video consultations) and we have worked hard to find creative ways to ensure we are meeting patients needs.

As a service we are supportive of a combination of hyrbid and face to face working, to help meet the needs of our patients and the service., You will work as Team Lead of the community Speech and Language Therapy team in North Kent.This includes planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating the Speech and Language Therapy Service on a day-to-day basis.
