Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic leader to join us as a senior sister/senior charge nurse in our busy but rewarding Emergency Department.
The Band 7 Sister/Charge Nurse is a rewarding role. You will be pivotal in the department striving to achieve the highest standard of care for all our patients within ED. You will lead our dynamic, multi-disciplinary team on a daily basis, ensuring the smooth running of shifts in a challenging and diverse environment. Your clinical leadership and people skills are vital to delivering the responsibilities and accountabilities outlined in this job description.
What we look for:
- Recent Band 6 Emergency Department, Critical Care or Acute Medicine experience
- Adult nurse
- Relevant emergency/critical care competencies.
- Recognised leadership qualification and experience of leading a team
- Involvement with a QI project
- Passionate about promoting and maintaining high standards of nursing care within ED
