You will manage and develop the TACT service, delivering nurse-led clinics, supporting complex quit attempts, and driving forward service innovation and research. As a visible clinical leader, you will work both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care.

This role offers the opportunity to influence population health, reduce health inequalities, and make a measurable difference to patient outcomes across the Trust.

18.75 Contracted hours (per week), As the CNS you will play a pivotal role in the management and care co-ordination of those eligible to receive smoking cessation support. You will be the key worker delivering smoking cessation services across UHB and supporting advisors within the team. In partnership with the Lead consultant you will deliver staff clinics and work across our inpatient outpatient services. You will work with partners within the smoking cessation service across pathways of care to ensure patients discharged from our inpatient services can continue with their supported quit attempt.

You will be based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and will need to be able to travel across the footprint of the service as needed. Some of your work will be supported by technology virtually and you should be experienced in using IT and technology. Experience with research, audit compiling reports and handling data will be useful within this role.

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust strives to have an inclusive culture where everyone feels like they belong, can thrive, knows that they add value and feels valued.
