Full Job Description
The prospective candidate must have broad experience in varying fields of podiatry, and take a holistic approach when assessing new patients in order to signpost appropriately.The successful candidate will see varied foot conditions, be able to expertly advice and signpost (with a responsibility to provide foot and ankle diagnosis), network and liaise with GP surgery staff with an MDT approach, and provide best practice care with outstanding outcomes for our patients. You will travel across the network and work within different GP surgeries for the majority of this role, with some direct podiatry intervention opportunity alongside the community podiatry service. Professional interdisciplinary networking with services such as Vita health, KCH orthopaedics, childrens physiotherapy services will be mandatory., We are looking for HCPC Registered Podiatrists with post graduate experience, with a high degree of motivation and clinical skills. The successful candidate will be required to have excellent diagnostic and clinical skills and able to provide patient and staff education, as well as correctly signpost to support services.The post holder will be an expert in their field, and will provide education not only for patients, but for other clinical staff. You will be expected to work alongside multiple GP surgery staff, and coordinate best patient care, share knowledge with the wider team and present case discussion and research at team and MDT meetings.
You will maintain best practice and demonstrate Bromley Healthcare values in your day to day role working as part of a team. We value healthcare promotion through patient empowerment and education, therefore we require podiatrists who have excellent communication and assessment skills.
