Come and be part of something special., As a Band 7 Clinical or Counselling Psychologist within the ACE team, you will provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children and young people across a range of care settings. You will hold a defined caseload, acting as care coordinator where appropriate, and will contribute to multi-disciplinary working by providing expert psychological advice, consultation, and guidance to colleagues across CAMHS and partner agencies. You will undertake risk assessment and risk management for the young people on your caseload, maintaining the highest standards of clinical record keeping in line with BPS, HCPC, and Trust requirements. You will provide clinical supervision to trainee and assistant psychologists as appropriate to your level of qualification, and contribute to the team's well-established training and consultation offer to social care, foster carers, and residential care staff. Alongside your direct clinical work, you will be expected to contribute to service development, audit, and evaluation, drawing on current evidence-based research to continuously improve the quality and responsiveness of the service.
