Full Job Description
To lead and manage the nursing caseload for patients withDiabetes, who have multiple and complex needs includingcomplex Type 1 and 2 Diabetes, ante-natal, renal, transitionand initiation of CGM/pump therapy within the inpatient andoutpatient Diabetes service.
To take responsibility for own evidence-based practice andimplement and add to the body of knowledge that supportsnursing practice within Diabetes.
To lead and innovate diabetes related nursing practice, bothwithin the Trust and through local networks.
To develop diabetes guidelines, protocols and policies for theTrust
To develop all staff within the multidisciplinary team, providingsupport, advice, formal and informal education.
To actively contribute to and participate in the delivery of Trust-wide multi disciplinary mandatory training and teaching., An exciting opportunity has come up (Barnet Hospital base site). This is a 7 day working role, hours to be discussed with the successful candidate.
