Full Job Description

The purpose of this role is to support the Senior People & Culture Partner to provide comprehensive human resource (HR) support for a designated clinical /corporate Division with regard to resourcing, organisational change, employee relations (ER) and terms and conditions of employment. The role will support the forward planning, modernisation and performance of the workforce. Main duties of the job Reporting into the Senior People & Culture Partner you will be the Associate People & Culture Partner for the North Middlesex Health Unit. Your role will support 2 divisions across the North Middlesex Health Unit. As part of the role, you will play a key part in providing HR services of a high quality and that are client focused. You will also work closely with HR colleagues across all main hospital sites on a variety of projects, staff engagement, organisational design and consultation and policy and process harmonisation.

Education and professional qualifications Essential

  • Degree level or equivalent HR experience
  • CIPD or equivalent level
  • Experience Essential
  • Employee relations experience in a complex, multidisciplinary and culturally diverse organisation
  • Experience of operating effectively in a customer facing environment
  • In depth knowledge of employment legislation and understanding of the risks of non-compliance
  • Experience of advising managers on complex and serious individual and/or collective conflict situations including disciplinary, capability and grievance issues
  • Experience of supporting effective organisational change initiatives, including Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment)
  • Well-developed understanding and awareness of best practice employee relations methodologies
  • Experience of working in a multi-unionised environment
  • Desirable
  • Experience of workforce planning to support divisional strategies
  • Experience of preparing Employment Tribunal information
  • Knowledge and experience of working with HR Business Partner model
  • Skills and aptitudes Essential
  • Able to plan and organise the work of themselves and others to ensure the achievement of targets and outcomes
  • Able to provide direct support to managers on complex case management issues
  • Able to prepare reports and correspondence to respond to complex cases

    North Mid is part of North Central London integrated care system - consisting of the NHS and Local authority organisations in Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey.
