Band 7 / 8A Clinical Psychologist - East Suffolk Specialist CAMHS

Are you a newly qualified Clinical Psychologist, a band 7 Clinical Psychologist seeking progression, or an existing 8A Clinical Psychologist ready for a new challenge? We would love for you to come and join us in the East Suffolk Specialist CAMHS Service!, This is a senior clinical role combining specialist assessment and therapy, consultation to multidisciplinary teams, supervision and workforce development, service improvement, and leadership in psychologically informed care. Key responsibilities include:

• Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for children, young people and families with complex mental health needs.
• Deliver a range of evidence-based psychological therapies and interventions to service users, families and carers.
• Provide psychological consultation, advice and formulation to multidisciplinary team colleagues to support psychologically informed care.
• Undertake complex risk assessments and advise other professionals on the psychological aspects of risk management.
• Provide supervision and support to trainee, assistant and newly-qualified psychologists, and contribute to developing the wider psychological workforce.
• Contribute to service development, strategic planning and the implementation of psychologically informed practice across services.
• Work collaboratively with health, social care and partner agencies to meet the recovery, safeguarding and wellbeing needs of service users and their families.
