Full Job Description
- You will be working autonomously and as part of team undertaking a wide range of examinations.
- You'll autonomously perform and report ultrasound examinations to a high standard in a professional manner, working within departmental guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
Diploma/BSc in Radiography or Health related Science - Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or DMU
- HCPC / RCT Registration or NMC Desirable criteria
- Case accredited, Experience in Obstetric, abdominal ultrasound, gynaecological ultrasound including endovaginal scanning, and some small parts ultrasound.
- Confidence and ability to issue own reports on examinations
- Evidence of professional development, Ability to work as a team, and independently
- Ability to organise work load
- Ability to self manage
- Adaptable/flexible
- High technical standards
- High patient care standards
- Good working knowledge of a range of ultrasound equipment, Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to get on with all grades of staff, You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
