Full Job Description
An exciting new role has become available within NEW CMHT. We are a multidisciplinary team consisting of a talented pool of both registered and non-registered mental health professionals.
We are looking for a registered mental health nurse , who has clinical experience in working with individuals with severe mental illness.
We believe that empowering our staff to achieve their full potential directly improves outcomes for the people we support. In return, we offer a supportive team environment, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to make a real impact within your community., This role is for a keyworker within the psychotic pathway. We have moved away from the use of care programme approach (CPA) and now work with service users and carers under the "your team, your conversation, your plan" approach, which is a strength based, intervention led model of care, that supports the individual to address their own identified needs. We support the conversation through the use of a personal well-being and safety plan, as well the use of patient related outcome measures (dialogue +).
If you are a committed mental health professional with an RMN qualification, with excellent communication skills, who likes working as part of a team please apply. We warmly welcome informal contact from potential candidates in advance of application.
We are AWP (Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust): a diverse organisation with over 5,000 dedicated staff providing inpatient and community-based mental health care.
We provide services from a range of locations to approximately 1.8 million people living in Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES), Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon, across the county of Wiltshire and in parts of Dorset.
Our outstanding people promote mental health and wellbeing. The expertise and resources within AWP are dedicated to a person-centred approach for those who use our services and for all employees. We recognise that happy and fulfilled employees give better care.
At AWP we actively encourage applicants from all backgrounds; we are particularly keen to encourage applications from people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, those with disabilities and from the LGBTQ+ community. We want people to bring their unique blend of experiences, backgrounds, perspectives and knowledge to AWP, as diversity makes us stronger.
