We have an exciting opportunity and looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist inc MSK to work alongside our Paediatric Physiotherapy team We are a community based service cand this position will cover countywide provision. The service provides assessment, treatment and advice to children and young adults aged 0-19 with a wide range of needs including MSK presentations. We work in partnership with families, other health professionals and education to maintain a holistic approach to the management of the child. Services are provided in a range of locations to meet the needs of the child and family. These include clinics, child's home, nurseries, acute hospital ward, mainstream and special schools. A car driver is essential.Main duties of the job The Children's Physiotherapy Team provides Physiotherapy assessment and treatment to Children and Young People from 0-18 years and treats a wide range of conditions such as: orthopaedic, developmental, and neurological. You will be responsible for your own caseload of children in the community settings across the County to assess and deliver Physiotherapy input to Children and Young people and will include assessment and intervention of Musculoskeletal conditions. Independently assess and treat a range of paediatric conditions including musculoskeletal (MSK) children and young people, some who may have complex presentations. Assess and treat children and adolescents presenting with a wide range of MSK conditions. These may include chronic, complex and disabling conditions, Assess, develop and implement highly specialised physiotherapy intervention. To make appropriate clinical decisions following assessments, including differential diagnosis on the basis of evidence from assessment. Develop specialist care plans based on best practice and expert knowledge. Formulate individualised management and/or treatment plans, using clinical reasoning skills. Evaluate patient progress, reassess and alter treatment plans as required
