Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist in Community Neurorehabilitation

To provide a high standard of physiotherapy service to adults with a range ofneurological conditions within the community in the borough of Barnet.

To assess and treat own caseload of patients as an autonomous andindependent practitioner for patients who may have acute, chronic and/orcomplex neurological dysfunction and maintain appropriate patient recordsand statistics.

Responsible for acting as a case co-ordinator/ keyworker for allocatedpatients including organising and undertaking reviews for patients withprogressive neurological conditions.

Supervise and teach more junior members of the team including, students andrehab assistants as well as being involved in teaching of seniorphysiotherapists and other multidisciplinary team (MDT) staff.

Undertake and present evidence based projects and service improvementinitiatives including departmental audit and service developments under thesupervision of line manager and/ or Clinical Lead., We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist to join our dynamic community neurological therapy team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust until the 31st March 2027.

The post will be based at the Neurological rehabilitation centre (NRC), within the Community Neurological Conditions Management Team (CNCMT), Edgware Hospital.

You will be joining an established community therapy team, and will have the opportunity to develop specialist skills in the assessment and treatment of complex neurological patients. You will be working as part of a specialist MDT, which includes the inpatient therapists based on the same site, and be involved in therapy in-service training and education programmes. You will be encouraged to participate in clinical governance and quality improvement activities.
