Band 6 Specialist Pharmacy Technician Non-Cancer Trials (QE)

Do you want to work in a great team with supportive colleagues helping deliver exciting trials and treatment options to our patients?, We have an exciting new position within our pharmacy trials team here at University Hospitals Birmingham site to take a lead for our dedicated trials dispensary at our Queen Elizabeth Hospital site. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced pharmacy technician to ensure the review, smooth set up and running of our non-cancer trials portfolio. You will work closely with our non-cancer trials pharmacists and a growing team of trials support staff, our research and R&D teams, and trial sponsors. Excellent communication and negotiating skills are essential., be responsible for the day-to-day management of the trials pharmacy service from our dedicated trials pharmacy providing a safe, efficient and timely service to our service users

The successful applicant will have trials experience and have worked in a busy hospital dispensary with the ability to manage competing workloads and shifting priorities. You will be well-supported and have access to learning, development and training opportunities to allow you to acquire additional skills and knowledge to manage the service and deliver the best possible pharmacy trials service for our patients and service users., demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and within a team with excellent communication skills

- have a keen eye for detail and have the technical knowledge of medicines management to review trial documents to allow successful review, set up and delivery of our investigational medicinal products
