The post holder will be expected to work multi professionally, support other team members' roles and contribute to the future development of the service. The post holder will respond to calls throughout Birmingham meeting UCR targets.

Main duties of the job

As a Senior nurse you will be able to demonstrate good leadership skills, the ability to manage change in clinical practice and processes. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to independently make sound clinical and leadership judgments and regularly supervise the workload of junior colleagues.

We are looking for people who are innovative, forward thinking, flexible and have strong leadership qualities. The candidate will have both clinical and operational responsibilities and an element of the role will be triaging and co-coordinating the shift. You must be able to confidently triage and prioritize referrals and delegate to junior members of staff.

Qualifications/ Experience required: Registered General Nurse with extensive community experience and be fully competent with end of life care/ stat doses and syringe driver care. Also be fully competent in catheterisation of both male and female catheterisation.
