Band 6 Senior Data Manager

This position represents a rare and exciting opportunity for a motivatedindividual with significant data and study management experience to provide efficient set-up, data management and study support to the Clinical Research Facility (CRF)., Working within the structure of the CRF, the post holder will lead on thecoordination of efficient study set up and continued delivery of the highest quality research and the management of patient data relating to clinical research studies.

The post holder will manage their own workload working with the research delivery team(s) and liaising with relevant clinical trial Sponsor representatives to support the set up and delivery of clinical trials within the CRF.

Responsibilities will include line management, training and development of data managers and research colleagues. In addition, the post holder will prepare paper and electronic Case Report Forms (CRFs), Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and Proformas and prepare for monitoring visits.

They will also liaise with trial Sponsors to ensure timely transfer of data, and resolving any data queries.

In depth knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and research governance regulations is essential.

You should be highly motivated and be able to undertake tasks using your own initiative.
