Band 6 Radiographer

A Band 6 Radiographer is regarded as a senior clinical member of staff and, assuch, will fulfil the requirements of their role within the Imaging team. They are able to demonstrate some specialised knowledge and expertise in the modalities mentioned above, using the principles of CPD in preparation to undertake extended roles and responsibilities, and progress to a Band 7 grade Radiographer; the most senior clinical role in the Radiology Department at the Royal Free Hospital NHS Foundation Trust., The duties and responsibilities of the post holder require service delivery in a wide range of clinical environments to patients with a diverse array of presentations.

Our service is delivered on a shift basis working 7:45am-8pm 7 days a week and includes working in areas such as CT, x-ray, and MRI in static and mobile scanners. This post would be well suited for a radiographer wishing to develop and expand on their x-ray, CT and MRI experience.
