The vacant post is part time working 18.75 hours per week., The Band 6 Podiatrists role is to be responsible for providing MSK rehabilitation to service personnel with complex clinical needs within the Lower Limbs Service. They are also responsible for the routine care of a small inpatient cohort with complex needs. The clinician is required to assess patients pre-surgically and decide on their suitability for surgical intervention. They are required to utilise local anaesthetic injection therapy as well as post-operative wound care dressings and care planning. They are required to keep up to date with rheumatology, vascular pathology, neurological and post-surgical wounds.
