Band 6 Physiotherapist - ESD

Would you like to join an established and effective team working with Stroke and Neurological patients in the community setting? The ESD team are seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our established ESD therapy team and work closely with the team to drive the service and its outcomes. You will manage a clinical caseload, complete assessment and therapy plans, whilst offering clinical supervision and support to your team, working closely with the wider therapy and multidisciplinary team to ensure quality, patient centred care and rehabilitation? It is essential you have a drivers' licence and own a car for this community role. You will be line managed and supervised by a Band 8a Physiotherapist., The Band 6 PT will manage a clinical caseload and will undertake a lead role in assessing, treating and discharge planning ESD stroke and neurological patients. The post holder will work closely with the MDT on the Acute Stroke Unit and support other therapy teams working with Stroke & Neurology patients at GHH. You will join an established Stroke & Neurology therapy team to provide support your development and accomplishment of Band 6 PT competencies.

It is essential they have good clinical skills, good communication and interpersonal skills. The post-holder must be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and have good organisational, time management, problem solving skills and an enthusiasm for service development., Applicants must be prepared to participate in our 7-day working service and have a driving licence.
