Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Are you passionate about empowering children and young people to fulfil their potential in daily occupations such as self-care, school and leisure?, Support the implementation of universal, targeted, and specialist interventions.

Lead in the creation and delivery of training packages which consider key areas such as sensory processing, motor skills and self-care skills.

Work confidently and effectively within the multi-disciplinary team, making recommendations, monitor outcomes and gather feedback from key stakeholders.

To provide formal supervision and leadership within the team to junior members of the team.

To participate in service analysis and development to ensure practice is evidence based.

To be able to work within trust policies.

To keep accurate and up to date case notes.

We are looking for an experienced Band 6 OT, who shows a passion for school-based Paediatrics and is motivated to develop their skills and knowledge within a supportive environment. We value new ideas and contributions to develop this new pathway., To have an ability to cope with flexible working patterns and adapt to change, capacity and demand.
