Band 6 Paediatric Nurse

Band 6 Paediatric Nurse - Fixed term: 12 months (37.5 hours), We care for children and young people with a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions. The Treehouse Unit is a 20 bedded acute paediatric ward, with 8 paediatric assessment beds(PAU) and 2 HDU beds, we also run day case surgical lists 4 days a week. Within Treehouse we have a Paediatric Clinical Nurse Educators who will offer you a robust induction plan . We will provide you with support to further progress your career, including a wide variety of training opportunities. We will offer you an individual Band 6 Development Plan which is tailored to your unique individual development needs. Team focused and hard working, you'll be committed to delivering safe high quality care to our patients whilst supporting your junior and senior colleagues. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Paediatric Nurse who is interested in developing their leadership skills, to support the Ward Manager in leading the Treehouse team. You would need to be dynamic and thrive under pressure, as well as being committed to delivering outstanding patient care to children, young people and their families. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong patient focus, excellent communication skills and demonstrate that they have the ability to work with and lead a team.
