An exciting opportunity has arisen at Woking and Sam Beare Hospice for a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our friendly therapy team, helping to deliver and develop palliative care therapy services for people facing progressive and life limiting conditions across our catchment area in North West Surrey.

Our therapy team consists of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Therapy Assistants. We work closely with a team of Clinical Nurse Specialists, Palliative Care doctors, our Hospice at Home team, Counsellors, and Complimentary Therapists in our Wellbeing Centre. The locations we see patients in are varied and this post includes working across inpatient, outpatient and community services. The ability to travel in your own car to visit patients at home is essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills within a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will provide Occupational therapy assessments and treatments to patients with complex and life-limiting conditions, helping to maximise independence, manage symptoms and improve overall wellbeing., In return for your skills, you can expect to join a caring multidisciplinary team working in a beautiful Hospice in the heart of North West Surrey. Our vision is to enable all of those with life-limiting illnesses to live life to the full and to equip them to die with choice and dignity.

This is a part-time role (22.5 hours per week).

Woking and Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing Care is a regional charity organisation working closely with its NHS partners to provide excellent care to patients and their families. Operating from a bespoke building in Goldsworth Park in Woking, the Charity provides inpatient and community services across North West Surrey. Goldsworth Park is close to all major road networks and the Hospice offers ample free car parking.
