The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive Technical Accounting function within the Financial Services department and Capital Accounting Team. The successful candidate will have ability to organise & priorities task assigned and will demonstrate passionate and hardworking attitude. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive Technical Accounting function within the Financial Services department, covering all procedures, policies and tasks relating to provisions, VAT, tax requirements and pensions which require the post holder to have effective communication skills when providing specialist advice and preparing accurate information and analysis to senior managers and various service users within the Trust and when dealing with external bodies such as the NHS Litigation Authority, H.M. Revenue & Customs and the NHS Business Authority The post holder will be required to assist in the completion of the Trusts statutory accounts, annual report and the monthly PFR returns.
