Band 5 Staff Nurse Paul Wood Ward Royal Brompton Hospital

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated staff nurse to join our team on Paul Wood ward, specialist cardiology ward at the Royal Brompton hospital.

Paul Wood ward is a specialist cardiology ward, where we care for a variety of patients with cardiac problems, working collaboratively with multiple medical teams. Our caseload includes patients with congenital heart conditions, heart failure, inherited cardiovascular disease and infective endocarditis. We also look after patients post structural procedures (such as TAVI and TEER).

We are a dedicated, supportive and ambitious team offering excellent training and development opportunities., The staff nurse will work across the team to gain experience in looking after a varied range of specialist cardiology patients, offering unique opportunities to develop skills and experience in cardiology care.

The post holder will be required to provide the highest standard of individualised and holistic patient care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team, supervise and teach junior members of staff and learns as required and maintain their own personal development with support from the senior nursing team.
