Full Job Description
- Full induction
- Mentorship and preceptorship programmes
- CPD to support and develop in the role
- Advice and support from clinical specialists
- Service development and innovation is strongly encouraged alongside audit and research
- Encouragement into internal promotion opportunities, To rotate through a wide range of rotations including medical, surgical, acute, community and OP neuro-rehabilitation, frailty, orthopaedics, rheumatology OP and GP clinics, gymnasium and department based musculoskeletal therapies. To undertake assessment of patients with a wide range of conditions and to work as autonomous clinicians, under the guidance of Clinical Specialist Physiotherapists as required, using accurate analytical skills and clinical reasoning to interpret assessment findings, making diagnoses where appropriate, identifying patient problems, setting goals, and providing an appropriate treatment plan and progression
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated HCPC registered Physiotherapist
- NHS placement and/ experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Work autonomously and within the team and wider MDT
- Organisation and time management
- Patient centred care
- Sound evidence based clinical knowledge
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records
- A full UK driving licence with vehicle access or be able to demonstrate means of meeting the travel requirements of the post, Please be aware that this post requires an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check with barred lists, the cost of which is payable by the successful candidate. If you have lived or worked abroad for 6 months or more in the last 5 years you will need to obtain an overseas police clearance.
