Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist

Our Physiotherapy Service provides high-quality care to a multi-cultural and diverse population, delivering excellence in community-based physiotherapy. You will work alongside experienced clinicians or have access to senior staff during normal working hours. We offer an excellent supervision and training programmewithin each rotation to support your professional development and enhance service delivery.

• Perform physiotherapeutic assessments for patients with a wide range of physical and psychological conditions.
• Provide clinical diagnoses and develop individualised treatment plans.
• Manage your own caseload and take responsibility for a defined area of the service or specific patient group.
You will work under supervision, which includes:
• Regular formal training and clinical reasoning sessions
• Peer reviews, case discussions, and case conferences
• Access to senior physiotherapists for advice and support when needed
Your clinical work will be routinely evaluated to ensure high standards of care. North Mid is part of North Central London integrated care system - consisting of the NHS and Local authority organisations in Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. As with other ICS's, we are working increasingly closely with partners and indeed many of our financial and performance objectives are measured at this system level. Whilst all organisations remain as standalone, statutory bodies we have an ICS infrastructure for making shared decisions and agreeing shared approaches. We are proud of our staff and want to ensure their training allows them to provide excellent clinical care. We are also a training unit for medical students from UCL and St George's University Grenada, and for nursing and midwifery students from Middlesex and City Universities. • Organise and plan your own caseload to meet service and patient priorities, adapting plans as situations change.
• Perform physiotherapeutic assessments, provide clinical diagnoses, and develop individualised treatment programmes.
• Collect data for service audits and monitoring service level agreements.
• Ensure safe and competent use of equipment, including teaching and supervising correct practice.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless physiotherapy provision across different service areas.
• Maintain awareness of Health & Safety policies, promptly report incidents, and ensure safe equipment use.
• Comply with organisational and departmental policies and contribute to their review and update.
• Undertake other duties as required by the Physiotherapy Service Manager.
