Band 5 Registered Nurse

An exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Band 5 registered nurse with a passion for women's health has arisen within the Gynaecology Outpatients Department at Northwick Park Hospital. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centred care to women attending with a wide range of gynaecological conditions, while supporting diagnostic procedures, treatments and clinics.,

• Contribute to maintaining a safe clinical environment, safeguarding patients, infection prevention and control, and promoting dignity, privacy and equality throughout the patient journey.
• Oversee the day-to-day running of Gynaecology Outpatients Department eg stock management, pharmacy ordering
• Assist in routine gynaecological procedures eg Outpatient Hysteroscopy, Colposcopy, Smear Clinic.
• Understand the importance of audit and contribute to departmental KPIs.
• Liaise with consultants, specialist nurses, healthcare assistants and administrative staff to ensure effective, compassionate care.
