The Imaging Department at Newham University Hospital, Barts Health have an exciting career development opportunity to become a Band 5 Radiographer in our team. This is a key role within the Imaging Department, the post holder will have a pivotal role in supporting the service to meet its activity and quality improvement priorities, diagnostic and cancer performance standards and strategic development of the service. Key Responsibilities
• Perform a range of diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and radiation safety regulations.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Maintain high standards of image quality and professional practice.
• Work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in quality assurance, audit, and service improvement activities.
• Contribute to the delivery of a safe and efficient imaging service, including shift and weekend working as required (participate in the delivery of a 24/7, 365 service).
