Band 5 Physiotherapist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Physiotherapist to join our Inpatient Intermediate Care and Stroke Rehabilitation Service in Barnet. Based across Finchley Memorial Hospital and Edgware Community Hospital, you will work as part of a supportive Physiotherapy team and wider multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality rehabilitation to adults with a range of complex physical needs and disabilities following illness, injury, surgery, stroke or long-term conditions. You will assess and support patients through individualised rehabilitation programmes, helping to improve mobility, function and independence and supporting safe transitions through their rehabilitation journey. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your clinical skills within a varied inpatient rehabilitation environment, working alongside experienced clinicians and contributing to positive outcomes for patients across Barnet., We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the team, who has the passion and skills for delivering, and maintaining in the team, a high standard of rehabilitation.

• You will be working with a multidisciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Dietitian, Rehabilitation Assistants, Speech and Language therapists and Social Worker

  Successful applicants will be required to demonstrate alignment with the Trusts values - Accountability, Inclusion, Compassion, and Empowerment, alongside fulfilling the duties detailed in the attached Job Description and Person Specification, Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy
• Current HPC registration
• Evidence of up to date CPD portfolio, Member of CSP
• Holds valid UK driver licence, Experience of working as part of an MDT
• Experience of completing assessments and creating treatment plans
• Relevant work experience in a variety of clinical specialties., Experience of delegation
• Experience working in the NHS, Understanding of professional ethics and their application in practice
• Understanding of team dynamics
• Basic knowledge of health legislation and current practice, risk assessment and management
• Word processing and internet skills
• Basic knowledge of the principals of clinical governance
• Health, safety and risk awareness, Teaching of junior staff / students, peers in in service training setting
• Supervision of assistant / junior staff
• Supervision of Students
• Knowledge and experience in research and audit
