Band 5 Diagnostic Radiographer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated radiographer to join our plain film x-ray team.

The successful candidate will cover general x-ray, dental x-ray, theatres and fluoroscopy. We also cover 5 community sites in the surrounding area.

o provide high quality radiographic images whilst working on rotation through the main imaging areas of the department and to provide a mobile service to the wards and theatres. To have a professional, caring and responsible approach to patients. To participate in providing a 24/7 diagnostic imaging service and rotate through community satellite sites. Work autonomously when needed and as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team in the wider hospital setting.

The Radiology Department is a busy department that focuses on patient care and outcomes. It is part of a district general hospital that provides x-ray, CT, MRI, US, Fluoroscopy, Interventional radiology and breast imaging for the population of West Dorset. There are good relationships within the team and other departments in the hospital
