Band 5 Audiologist

The post holder will work primarily in the hearing aid service and provide diagnostic support to ENT clinics, with regular clinics primarily at Peterborough Hospital. As services are proved at multiple hospital sites the post may involve travel between our hospital sites., If you are interested in this position please see the full Job Description attached to this vacancy.

Applicants must be qualified Audiologists with BSc in Audiology (or equivalent Audiology qualification) and should meet the requirement for registration, and have training/work experience in an NHS audiology service. Applications are welcome from both newly qualified graduates and experienced band 5 Audiologists. Good communication skills are essential.

• Cross site working maybe required, BSc Audiology or Equivalent
• Evidence of CPD
• RCCP Registered or working towards, Experience gained through completion of training post
• Experience of Adult rehab/hearing aid fitting
• Experience of routine Audiological testing, Excellent communication skills, clearly spoken, competent English Speaker
• Adaptable and flexible approach to work
• Able to work within multidisciplinary team
