Full Job Description

The post-holder will be working closely with the AWP R&D Team and Study Research Team, will contribute to the successful delivery of one or more research studies within AWP which will be either observation (e.g., questionnaire/Interview) or interventional (e.g., therapeutic support) in nature. The post-holder will have excellent communication and presentation skills, together with the ability to organise and motivate others. They will demonstrate enthusiasm and innovation when faced with challenges and will contribute to the planning and execution of the project in AWP. In particular, they will help to deliver
key component of the projects research protocol including a variety of research tasks (dependent on the project)., The role of the Lived Experience Researcher in AWP is to engage individuals who have a diagnosis of psychosis and deliver this specialist CBT intervention (Feeling Safer) with close supervision from a clinical psychologist; working within NHS services; and clinical trials methodology. All training will be provided by the study team in Oxford and colleagues in AWP.

+ To be involved in the design and evaluation of the study.
+ To be involved in the collection and analysis of qualitative/quantitative research data relating to the project.
+ To be involved in preparing and submitting applications and reports.
+ Where appropriate, to assist in the identification and recruitment of study participants and taking a lead with voluntary sector liaison.
+ To collect relevant literature to facilitate the different stages of specific research projects, as appropriate
Clinical
+ To support the delivery of a healthcare intervention (e.g., psychological therapy) in a clinical research trial under the supervision of a clinician or other appropriately qualified individual and/or to support the delivery of a observational research project.
+ To attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings, steering groups and other forums as appropriate.
+ To work within the AWP Code of practice for Peer Support Workers and Lived Experience practitioners.
+ To appropriately and safely share Lived Experience where it is part of the intervention/project.
