An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Medicine Division in West Hertfordshire NHS Trust based at Watford General Hospital. We are looking for Medical Secretary/Pathway Navigator for 37.5 hours per week.
We are looking for a proactive, forward thinking, highly motivated, enthusiastic individual, who will be compassionate and proactive, working with consultants, nursing, management and colleagues to co-ordinate waiting lists, book outpatient appointments ensuring the patient pathway is protected by providing secure, timely and appropriate arrangements in accordance with Trust pathways., The successful candidate will provide medical secretarial support to one or more stroke/care of the elderly consultants and will be required to cross cover in colleagues' absence.
The successful applicant will need to have a good general level of education with formal secretarial qualifications, with medical terminology knowledge and possess the essential qualifications outlined in the attached Person Specification.
