Band 3 Waiting List Coordinator - Elective Care

We are looking for individuals with administrative experience within the healthcare sector to work in the Elective Care Booking Team as a Waiting List Coordinator., As part of a large team of Waiting List Co-ordinators, the post holder will individually manage elective waiting lists for our specialities, ensuring pre -ops are booked and theatre/clinic lists are fully utilised. The post holder will also answer telephone queries from patients, work closely with Speciality Managers and clinical staff including theatres. In particular, the Waiting List Co-ordinators will be working closely with the Team Leader and Elective Care Support Manager to ensure all patients on the waiting list are booked and managed adhering to the Trust Patient Access Policy and Protocol. Patients are booked against the Trusts measurable and reportable key performance targets across all specialties, including Cancer 2 week waits, diagnostics, 18 week RTT and currently 54 weeks and under backlog of patients.

The post is full time 37.5 hours; Monday -- Friday 09:00 -- 17:00 with half an hour lunch break and will be based at Ullswater House, Solihull Hospital, Lode Lane, Solihull B91 2JL Applicants should have a good knowledge of Oceano and Ultra Genda - experience of working with Medisight would be advantageous.
