West London NHS Trust is seeking a committed and compassionate Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated team. - Provide high-quality, compassionate, patient-centred care.
- Support patients with personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition, hydration, and comfort needs.
- Promote and preserve patient dignity, independence, and emotional well-being.
- Ensure safe manual handling and adherence to patient safety protocols Clinical Support:
- Perform, record, and report clinical observations, including: + Vital signs (BP, pulse, respirations, temperature) + Blood glucose monitoring + Oxygen saturation
- Support the implementation of care plans under the supervision of registered staff. Team Collaboration
- Work closely within the multidisciplinary team (MDT), including nurses, doctors, AHPs, and students.
- Participate in handover, ward meetings, and communication processes to ensure continuity of care.
- Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture and help promote best practice. Administration: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
- Manage delegated administrative tasks that support smooth ward functioning
