Ball Picker & Range Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Ball Picker & Range Assistant to join our team for morning shifts. This is an active, varied role that combines driving range operations, facility maintenance, and customer service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
As one of the first team members on site each day, you'll play a key role in preparing the facility for opening, ensuring the range is fully stocked, well-presented, and ready to welcome customers. You'll also assist with the ongoing maintenance of the Range and provide friendly support to customers throughout your shift.
The Role
Your day may include:
Collecting, washing, and preparing golf balls for use on the driving range
Operating specialist range equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently
Preparing the range and facilities to the highest standards before opening
Carrying out general maintenance, cleaning, and presentation duties across the site
Assisting with grounds upkeep to ensure a safe, attractive environment for customers
Welcoming customers, answering enquiries, and providing excellent service
Identifying and reporting maintenance issues while supporting routine repairs and upkeep
Helping the wider operations team deliver a first-class customer experience, This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining excellent facilities, and values delivering outstanding customer service.
A full, valid driving licence (essential)
A positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility
Someone who enjoys working outdoors and being physically active
Excellent reliability and punctuality for early morning starts
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Practical maintenance, groundskeeping, or operational experience is an advantage but not essential
A team player who takes pride in maintaining high standards
