Bakery Assistant - VAXX Bakery - London

Vaxx Bakery & Specialty Coffee is looking for a friendly, bubbly and reliable Bakery Assistant to join our growing team in Battersea. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with food, brings great energy to the workplace and is happy to get involved in all aspects of our daily bakery operation. The ideal candidate will have good kitchen/chef skills, be confident with food preparation and comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment. You'll help with preparing and baking our products, food presentation, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, stock and prep, and supporting the wider team throughout the day.

• Has previous kitchen, chef, bakery or food preparation experience
• Is bubbly, friendly and brings positive energy to the team
• Is reliable, responsible and takes punctuality seriously
• Has great communication and teamwork skills
• Is organised, clean and takes pride in their work
• Is proactive and happy to get stuck in wherever needed
• Is fully flexible, including weekends and early starts
• Ideally lives locally in Battersea or the surrounding area, or can reliably travel for early shifts
