Full Job Description

Cup & Crust is a brand-new café opening in the heart of Camden, and we're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Baker / Café Assistant to join our team. You'll be responsible for preparing and baking our fresh pastries and baked goods each morning, helping us make sure everything is ready for opening. The role will include:

  • Preparing and baking croissants, pastries, cookies and other baked goods
  • Preparing fresh food and fillings when required
  • Keeping the kitchen and baking area clean and organised
  • Following food hygiene and safety standards
  • Helping with general café duties during quieter periods
  • Assisting with coffees and drinks where needed
    • Hours: Early morning starts, approximately 6:30am-7:00am, around 6-8 hours per shift. Previous baking or kitchen experience is preferred. Barista experience would be a big bonus, but training can be provided. We're a new independent café with plans to grow, so there's a genuine opportunity for the right person to take on more responsibility and potentially progress into a supervisor/manager role. We're looking for someone friendly, punctual, hardworking and excited to be part of Cup & Crust from the beginning.
