Full Job Description
We are seeking a client-facing professional who can bridge the gap between FM activity and Project / Programme Delivery, working across backlog and BAU workstreams.
Reporting into the Backlog Programme Lead, the role requires close collaboration with Project Managers, technical colleagues, Asset Management, HSEQ, CDM, Projects and FM teams, while managing client expectations and working to tight deadlines.
The role is open to candidates nationwide and operates on a hybrid basis, with 2-3 days per week spent visiting sites or working from an ISS office.
Key Responsibilities
Work alongside the Backlog Programme Lead to support delivery of backlog and BAU billable works.
Manage and oversee a team of Quantity Surveyors producing accurate quotes for billable works up to £300k.
Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure effective delivery, completion and close-out of small works projects.
Manage client meetings and act as a key point of contact for project updates and expectations.
Oversee subcontractor management, performance and compliance.
Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, budget and governance requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Technical, Asset Management, HSEQ, CDM, Projects and FM teams.
Proven experience delivering small works and billable projects up to £300k.
Strong background across small works, lifecycle projects, asset management and reactive works.
Experience in project management and/or the built environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Strong contractor and subcontractor management experience.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
UK driving licence required due to site travel.
Degree in Project / Programme Management, Construction Management or a related discipline is desirable.
Professional accreditation via RICS, CIOB or equivalent is highly desirable., Disability Confident
