About Highfield Nursery

Highfield Nursery, proudly rated "Good" by Ofsted, has a capacity of 51 children and has been part of the MiChild Family since 2020. Situated within Blackpool, close to Blackpool Airport, we have 4 playrooms with a sensory room within our Preschool unit. We take pride in our outdoor areas, including a separate baby garden and preschool garden, offering children and staff boundless opportunities for outdoor and imaginative play. Roadside parking is available, and the nursery is a 10-minute drive from Blackpool Town Centre, easily accessible by bus routes and within walking distance of South Shore Train Station.

What We're Looking For

• Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognized)
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
• Robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness
• Experience leading a room or supervising a team (desirable)

Shift Patterns

This role operates on a rotating weekly shift schedule for coverage and flexibility. The shifts include:

• Early Shift: 7.30am - 4.30pm
• Middle Shift: 8.00am - 5.00pm or 8.30am - 5.30pm
• Late Shift: 9.00am - 6.00pm
